Ann McMahon is a photographer with over 35 years of experience. Her images have been published in calendars, brochures, note cards and magazines. Ann is a pilot and her articles and images have been published in Kit Planes and Sport Aviation magazines, as well as on aviation related web sites.
She has received extensive training in photographic fine art printing from from Charles Cramer (www.charlescramer.com), acknowledged as one the best landscape photographers in the U.S. and Bill Atkinson, (www.billatkinson.com), author of the graphical user interface for the Macintosh Computer and an outstanding photographer in his own right., Additionally, Ann has studied with Alain Briot (www.beautiful-landscape.com), an outstanding landscape photographer, and the Ansel Adams Gallery (www.anseladams.com). Ann achieves outstanding print quality for every image using skills gained from this training and using the latest technology.
Ann established one of the first Desktop Publishing Services Bureaus in the U.S. in 1984, using PageMaker v1.0, McPaint, McDraw & Adobe Illustrator. She went on to master the emerging computer layout technology, applying it to magazines, books, newsletters, brochures, flyers, ads and other publications.
Ann, who is a pilot, enjoys flying her plane to capture some images or just to get to a shoot. She is a member of "ASMP, American Society of Media Photographers", and "Adobe Photographers Directory"
